Gonzalez brings more than 20 years of clinical and healthcare operational leadership experience across the United States and Chile to his work with Reunion. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of a startup Rehabilitation Hospital in Lake City, where he led the successful launch operations of the inpatient rehabilitation hospital, driving strong early performance across key clinical and financial metrics.
Gonzalez holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University and an MBA in Business Management from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He also completed executive education in Leading with Finance at Harvard Business School. Over the course of his leadership career, he has built and developed high-performing interdisciplinary teams, strengthened physician and healthcare system relationships, optimized payor mix and financial sustainability, and successfully led organizations through Joint Commission accreditation with exceptional survey outcomes.
Prior to serving as CEO in Lake City, Gonzalez held leadership roles including Director of Therapy Operations at a rehabilitational hospital in Cape Coral and as Therapy Team Leader at a rehabilitational hospital in Sarasota. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a consistent focus on quality outcomes, operational excellence, employee engagement, and strategic growth.
