Eric Mueller

Market CEO for Reunion Phoenix and Reunion Peoria

As Market CEO for Reunion Phoenix Metro, Eric Mueller leads the clinical, financial, and operational teams at Reunion's Phoenix and Peoria hospitals to cultivate a collaborative and supportive workplace for employees and to provide exceptional care to every patient.

Mueller has over 15 years of leadership experience in inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions in operations, marketing, and development throughout the US. In each of these positions, he invested in his team and changed employee culture, raising both employee satisfaction scores and retention.

Prior to joining the Reunion team, Mueller served as CEO of an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. As Market CEO of Phoenix Metro, he is committed to making Reunion Rehabilitation a provider and employer of choice in the greater Phoenix area by providing patients with the highest quality care possible and creating a culture that fosters employee development.

Mueller holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of South Carolina.

Joseph Wong, MD, MBA

Medical Director

Dr. Joseph Wong, MD Reunion: Phoenix’s medical director, manages each patient's medical rehabilitation plan of care to effectively transition them from their initial diagnosis through acute care and rehabilitation and ultimately back to their community.

Dr. Wong specializes in the treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and also specialty certified in electrodiagnostics. He has published topics in multiple medical journals and is currently a reviewer for The Journal of Spinal Cord Injury.

Most recently, Dr. Wong has been serving the Phoenix community as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. He received his bachelor's degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a master's degree in business administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He also obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of medicine and completed his residency at Stanford University.

Bradley Herman

Chief Therapy Officer

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix’s Chief Therapy Officer, Bradley Herman leads all therapy department operations, working with his team to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure patients and their families receive high-quality care and support.

Herman brings over nine years of inpatient rehabilitation experience into his role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion Phoenix, Herman was director of therapy at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Gilbert, Arizona. Over the course of his career, he has provided occupational therapy to inpatients and outpatients and has worked in athletic training for the Indianapolis Colts.

Herman holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Purdue University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University. He is also certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist.

Marcie Gest

Chief Nursing Officer

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix’s Chief Nursing Officer, Marcie Gest works to optimize employee engagement and patient experiences through clinical operations and supervision of the nursing, respiratory, and nutrition teams.

Gest brings over 14 years of healthcare experience to her role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion Phoenix, she served as the nursing supervisor at a hospital in Arizona.

Gest is presently working on a master’s in nursing leadership from Chamberlain University, and currently holds a bachelor’s in nursing.

Kathryn Guy

Director of Quality Management

Director of Quality Management Kathryn Guy brings more than 12 years of healthcare experience to her work at Reunion. At Reunion Phoenix, Guy oversees all facets of quality and risk management as well as patient safety.

Before joining Reunion, Guy served as a Hospital Educator for a rehabilitation hospital in Arizona. She has also worked as a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Team Lead.

Guy earned an associate’s degree in Nursing from Harper College and also has her RN license.

Jacqueline Hodge

Director of Business Development

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix’s Director of Business Development, Jacqueline Hodge manages the marketing team and admissions processes. She also works alongside the CEO and medical director to build patient referrals and provide leadership and direction to the clinical liaison and admission teams.

Hodge brings nearly 20 years of healthcare leadership experience into her role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion, she served as a regional sales director, a regional director of business development, and the CEO/VP of Business Development for a hospital in Phoenix. In each of these positions, she oversaw organizational growth strategies, maximized revenue opportunities, and provided leadership and mentor support to all personnel.

Hodge holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Murray State University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
