As Market CEO for Reunion Phoenix Metro, Eric Mueller leads the clinical, financial, and operational teams at Reunion's Phoenix and Peoria hospitals to cultivate a collaborative and supportive workplace for employees and to provide exceptional care to every patient.

Mueller has over 15 years of leadership experience in inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals. Over the course of his career, he has held leadership positions in operations, marketing, and development throughout the US. In each of these positions, he invested in his team and changed employee culture, raising both employee satisfaction scores and retention.

Prior to joining the Reunion team, Mueller served as CEO of an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. As Market CEO of Phoenix Metro, he is committed to making Reunion Rehabilitation a provider and employer of choice in the greater Phoenix area by providing patients with the highest quality care possible and creating a culture that fosters employee development.

Mueller holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Joseph Wong, MD Reunion: Phoenix’s medical director, manages each patient's medical rehabilitation plan of care to effectively transition them from their initial diagnosis through acute care and rehabilitation and ultimately back to their community.

Dr. Wong specializes in the treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. He is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation and also specialty certified in electrodiagnostics. He has published topics in multiple medical journals and is currently a reviewer for The Journal of Spinal Cord Injury.

Most recently, Dr. Wong has been serving the Phoenix community as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. He received his bachelor's degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a master's degree in business administration from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He also obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of medicine and completed his residency at Stanford University.

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix’s Chief Therapy Officer, Bradley Herman leads all therapy department operations, working with his team to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure patients and their families receive high-quality care and support.

Herman brings over nine years of inpatient rehabilitation experience into his role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion Phoenix, Herman was director of therapy at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Gilbert, Arizona. Over the course of his career, he has provided occupational therapy to inpatients and outpatients and has worked in athletic training for the Indianapolis Colts.

Herman holds a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Purdue University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University. He is also certified with the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist.

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix’s Chief Nursing Officer, Teshonda Craven works to optimize employee engagement and patient experiences through clinical operations and supervision of the nursing, respiratory, and nutrition teams.Craven brings over 18 years of nursing experience into her role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion Phoenix, Craven was the Director of Nursing for a cardiovascular care hospital in Sun City, AZ. Over the course of her career, she has acted as Director of Nursing at three hospitals, fostering collaborative, high-performance teams through mentorship and ultimately improving staff engagement and retention.

Craven holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix.

As Director of Quality Management of Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix, Deborah Roberts oversees all facets of quality and risk management, as well as patient safety.

Roberts has over 25 years of diverse healthcare experience in both acute and post-acute care settings. Before joining the Reunion Phoenix team, she was a Director of Clinical Process Improvement for Atlas Healthcare Partners in Phoenix, Arizona. She has also held leadership roles as a Director of Nursing and as an Inpatient Services Director.

Roberts holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership, both from Grand Canyon University. She is a Registered Nurse and with additional certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

As Reunion Rehabilitation Hospitals' Market Director of Business for Phoenix and Peoria, Dana Schlegel-James manages the marketing team and admissions processes. She also works alongside the CEOs and medical directors to build patient referrals and provide leadership and direction to the clinical liaison and admission teams.

Schlegel-James brings over 14 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience into her role at Reunion. Before joining Reunion Hospital, she was the senior clinical liaison and marketing coordinator for Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. In that position, she was responsible for building and maintaining key relationships, leading networking and outreach efforts, and overseeing admissions team development. She also received a “Nurse of the Year” award in 2019.

Schlegel-James holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Northern Arizona University and has certifications in case management and rehabilitation nursing.
