Treatment for major multiple trauma
Every major multiple trauma patient has unique physical, cognitive, psychological, social, and work-related levels of functioning. That’s why we never take a one-size-fits-all approach: We design individual plans of care for every patient, tailored to their needs.
Inpatient rehabilitation for major multiple trauma may use advanced hands-on care, virtual reality, and other advanced technologies to help with:
- Physical therapy to regain movement, strength, and function of the affected body parts
- Occupational therapy, which includes retraining everyday life skills required in the home, at work and within your community (loading a washer and dryer, preparing meals, bathing, or using electronic devices at home or work)
- Speech and cognitive therapy to improve functional communication, orientation to environment, attention, and memory skills
What to expect

We’ll work with you and your support system every day daily to help you meet recovery goals and achieve long-lasting outcomes.
